Built by a genetic lab for labs that need better software.

Labrynix was created from real experience inside genetic and molecular laboratory operations — built around the frustration of disconnected workflows, outdated report tools, manual handoffs, limited visibility, and systems never designed for modern precision medicine.

Our story

We didn't start as a software company. We started in the lab.

Labrynix exists because we lived the problem first — and decided to build the platform we wished we'd had.

Built by someone who runs the labs.

Tarek Younis

Founder, Labrynix · Founder & CEO, Gene Matrix AI

Labrynix was built by Tarek Younis, founder and CEO of Gene Matrix AI — a Chicago-based precision-genomics company running CLIA-certified genetic testing across pharmacogenomics, hereditary cancer, and preventive health for clients in multiple countries. After more than 15 years in healthcare technology and biotech — and the day-to-day reality of running genetic testing operations — he built Labrynix as the connected platform he wished his own labs had.

From the bench to the platform.

Before the software

We were running the lab

Our team worked inside genetic and molecular testing operations — managing orders, samples, statuses, reporting, and the daily reality of precision medicine workflows.

The frustration

Everything lived in disconnected tools

Operations in one system, reporting in another, manual handoffs in between. Limited visibility, duplicated data entry, and report tools that were never designed for genetic testing.

The gap

Nothing was built for labs like ours

We looked for software that understood the sample-to-report workflow end to end — and couldn't find a platform that connected LIMS operations with modern PGx reporting.

The build

So we built Labrynix

Not from theory, but from the operational reality of running genetic testing workflows — a connected platform for LIMS, reporting, portals, integrations, billing visibility, and AI-powered insights.

The AI

Then we built our own AI

We built and refined our own AI system over years of real lab operations — on top of best-in-class models — so it can custom-build agents, SOPs, workflows, algorithms, and specialty reports (PGx, neurology, oncology, and more) around each lab. The lab always validates and signs out.

The Labrynix platform — connected operations, reporting, billing, and AI for genetic and molecular labs.

Built from the operational reality of running a lab.

That experience gave us firsthand insight into what labs actually need — and shaped every module Labrynix offers today.

  • Better LIMS workflows for sample-to-report operations
  • Modern PGx reports providers and patients can actually use
  • Branded provider and patient access, owned by the lab
  • Billing workflow visibility instead of blind handoffs
  • Secure operations with access control and auditability
  • Integrations treated as core, not one-off projects
  • Custom AI agents for SOPs, workflows, and algorithms
  • Custom specialty reports — PGx, neurology, oncology, and more

Help labs operate efficiently, report better, and scale with confidence.

Our mission is to help genetic and molecular laboratories operate more efficiently, deliver better reporting experiences, and scale with software built around real laboratory workflows.

The principles behind Labrynix.

Explore the platform →

A report is often the only thing a provider or patient ever sees from your lab. It should be clear, branded, well-structured, and genuinely useful — not an afterthought bolted onto operations.

Reporting

Labs should not have to manage operations and reporting in disconnected systems. When the workflow and the report share one platform, data captured once flows everywhere it's needed.

Connected

Provider portals, patient portals, reports, and workflows should reflect the lab's brand and communication style — not a generic vendor's. Your software experience is part of your identity.

Branded

AI can improve efficiency and consistency, but review, validation, approval, and clinical responsibility belong with the lab. Assistance accelerates the work; it never replaces the expert behind it.

Responsible AI

Modern labs need systems that connect with healthcare, billing, provider, and laboratory technology ecosystems. Integrations are core infrastructure, not one-off custom projects.
